Sod is a living, perishable product that requires immediate installation and continuous care.

TGM is not responsible for the condition of sod after it leaves our facility or is delivered to the customer.

3. Pickup Policy
Customers are responsible for inspecting sod at the time of pickup.

Once sod is loaded, TGM releases all liability, and the customer assumes full responsibility for proper handling, storage, and installation.

4. Delivery Policy
Delivery is curbside only or to the nearest accessible area as determined by our driver.

TGM is not responsible for property damage caused by delivery equipment.

Customers must be present at delivery or designate someone to receive and inspect the sod.

5. Installation Policy
Installation includes laying sod on a properly prepared area.

Customers must ensure the ground is cleared, leveled, and free of debris, unless TGM is contracted to provide ground preparation services.

If TGM performs installation, we confirm sod is laid correctly and water is applied during the initial installation only.

Post-installation care is the sole responsibility of the customer.

6. Post-Installation Complaints
Once sod is installed and accepted, TGM is not liable for any claims related to sod performance, including discoloration, drying, weed growth, or death of the grass.

Complaints about sod quality or appearance after installation will not be accepted.

Many factors such as improper watering, poor drainage, pest activity, soil condition, foot traffic, and extreme temperatures can affect sod health — these are outside TGM’s control.

7. Customer Responsibility
Customers must water sod immediately after installation and continue to follow a proper watering and maintenance schedule.

Failure to follow these guidelines voids any implied expectations of sod condition or performance.

8. Legal Disclaimer
By purchasing sod from TGM, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms outlined in this policy.

This policy serves as a binding agreement to protect Texas Garden Materials from liability or disputes relating to sod condition, survival, or appearance post-purchase or post-installation.
